The EVK-HADES1210 evaluation kit implements a power half-bridge based on the HADES v2 isolated gate driver and two CISSOID NEPTUNEs (a 10A/1200V SiC MOSFET).It includes a ready-to-use evaluation board for implementing a power converter or motor drive, designed for bus voltages up to 1200V and application currents up to 10A. Both channels can be controlled independently of each other or use locally generated non-overlapping delays.This reference design is based on the second generation HADES chipset, which consists of 2 devices: the primary device CHT-HADES2P and the secondary device CHT-HADES2S.The solution includes an isolated power supply built around the CHT-HADES2P PWM controller.The evaluation board EVK-HADES2® can be used for point-of-care testing of SiC MOSFET devices. The board houses a ceramic-encapsulated CISSOID integrated circuit and is guaranteed to operate over a temperature range of -55°C to +225°C. The board is based on polyimide PCB (temperature rated 200°C). Passive components and desaturation diodes allow operation at temperatures up to 175°C, with possible short-term excursions to 225°C for testing. The evaluation board comes with a complete electrical schematic, bill of materials including active and passive components, and Gerber files.
